Who is Aぇ! Group?
Aぇ! Group (pronounced as 'a group' for non Japanese learners, or 'ee guruupu' for those into romajis) is a six members group from Kansai Johnny's Junior and is produced by Yokoyama You. The group's formation was announced on February 18th 2019 and is said by Yoko himself to be a reminiscent of Kanjani∞ as they often perform as a band.
At first, Yoko chose to call the new group A group but Johnny called him during the night following the decision to say it would be more trendy if he puts the little ぇ after the A (the pun intended here is made after the kansaiben ええ (ee), meaning good. Litterally : a good group).
They performed their first live tour in March 2019. Since then, they did another tour in 2020 called 'Ae! Group Zepp LIVE 2020 STARTING NOW 413' as well as a butai (stageplay) called 'Bokura Ae! Group ga brake shisou desu nen?!'.
They have a group pose they always do when introducing themselves. It looks like the fingers make an 'A' and the eye is the horizontal stroke.
Where to watch them?
The members are regular in the TV Show called "Naniwa kara Ae ! Kaze fukasemasu!" on the platform Gyao. The episode are available directly on the streaming platform.
They also appear on the Kansai TV show Maido Jani, featuring lots of Kansai Johnny's Jr.
They also post videos on the platform Island TV, where all the juniors (as well as SixTones and Snow Man) can post a wide range of videos. They even have a mascot called "Aクート" (akuuto?) →

His character is heavily based on “one punch joke” (ippatsu gag). His most known gag is “Waipaa” (imitating a car wiper).He’s actually smart and goes to the university and is in the Johnny’s Quiz Club (along with Abe Ryohei, Kawashima Noel and other juniors).His dream is to become famous and "sell well" (Island TV profile).
